Convert SRT to Plain Text

A subtitle file is mostly scaffolding — cue numbers, arrows, timestamps — wrapped around the words you actually want. This strips all of it and gives you the transcript as plain text, ready to paste into a document, a summary prompt, or a search box.

Ofte stillede spørgsmål

Does it keep the line breaks from the subtitles?

Each cue becomes one line. Subtitles are broken for reading speed rather than by sentence, so expect the result to need a light pass if you want flowing paragraphs.

Can I get a Word or PDF file instead?

Yes — choose DOCX or PDF in the output list. Those keep the timestamps as a reference, which is usually what people converting for review want.

Is there a size limit?

Only what your browser can hold comfortably; a feature-length subtitle file is far below it. There is no account and no quota because nothing is processed on our servers.
