How are the timings decided?
Every line gets the same duration, laid back to back from zero, using the seconds-per-line value you pick. That is deliberately simple: a predictable rule is easy to correct for, whereas a clever guess would be wrong in ways you would not spot until playback.
How should I format my text?
One subtitle per line. Blank lines are ignored, so you can keep your paragraph breaks. Break long sentences where you want the subtitle to break.
My timings do not match the video. What now?
That is expected from generated timings. Load the SRT into a subtitle editor to sync it, or let ScribeToAny transcribe the video directly — it takes the timings from the audio, so they line up from the start.
