Translate Video to Text
Getting a foreign-language video into readable text normally takes two tools: one to transcribe it, another to translate the result — and the timings never survive the round trip. ScribeToAny does both in a single job. Upload the video, the audio is extracted and transcribed with timestamps and speaker labels, then the finished transcript is translated segment by segment into the language you picked. Because the translation reuses the original cue boundaries, the exported SRT or VTT is still frame-accurate against your footage.

Frequently asked questions
Do I get both the original transcript and the translation?
Yes. The transcript in the spoken language and the translated version are both stored against the same job, and you can export either one — or both — in any of the eight formats. Nothing is overwritten, so you can go back to the original at any time. The target language itself is chosen when the job starts and cannot be changed afterwards.
Which video formats can I upload?
MP4, MOV, WEBM, WMV, MPEG and the other common containers. The audio track is extracted automatically before transcription, so you never need a separate converter. Paid plans accept files up to 5 GB and 3 hours long; the free plan handles files up to 30 minutes.
Which plan do I need for translation?
Translating a finished transcript into one of the 56 target languages is part of the Max plan. Transcription itself, including speaker recognition and all eight export formats, works on every plan — and any plan can transcribe non-English audio straight into English, which covers a lot of what people mean by "translate my video".
