Should I upload a Zoom recording's MP4 or its audio file?
Either works. Zoom cloud recordings usually come with a separate audio-only M4A next to the MP4; uploading that is faster and gives the same transcript, since only the audio is used.
Does video resolution affect the transcript?
No. The picture is discarded and the audio is converted to 16 kHz mono before transcription, so a 4K file and a 720p copy of the same recording give the same text. A smaller copy only uploads faster.
