Is this a certified court transcript?
No. This is an AI-generated working transcript — fast, timestamped and searchable — not a certified record from a licensed court reporter. Use it to draft, review and locate testimony; where a certified transcript is required, it does not replace one.
Does it label who is speaking?
Yes. Turn on Detect speakers and the transcript is split by speaker, so the record reads as a Q-and-A between counsel and witness. It's a best-effort split by voice, so check the turns against the actual roles. Speakers come back numbered rather than named, and the labels can't be renamed in the app yet — if you need real names, find-and-replace them in the exported DOCX or TXT.
How do I cite a specific moment?
Every line carries a timestamp, and clicking it replays that point in the audio, so you can verify the wording and cite by timecode. Export to PDF or DOCX for the file, or TXT for search.
Is it confidential enough for legal recordings?
Uploads are visible only to your account, original recordings are deleted after transcription, transcripts stay until you delete them, and we never train AI on your files. Whether that meets your confidentiality obligations is for you and your firm to decide.
