Does it handle casual speech and English loanwords?

Yes. Mixed formal-and-casual Indonesian and common English loanwords are transcribed as spoken. Heavy code-switching between Indonesian and English mid-sentence is the spot to glance over in the editor.

Do I need to pick the language first?

No — language is detected automatically, so you can just upload and go. If a file is mostly quiet or heavily mixed, setting the language to Indonesian explicitly can steer it, but it is not required.

Can it subtitle Indonesian videos?

Yes. Transcripts are timestamped, so export SRT or VTT and put them straight on the video. On the Max plan the Indonesian transcript can also be translated into any of 56 languages with the timings kept in sync.
