Yes — both Brazilian and European Portuguese are recognised, and the source transcript follows standard written Portuguese. The English translation reads the same either way; heavy regional slang is where a quick proofread helps.

Do I get the Portuguese transcript too, or only English?

Your choice. "Transcribe to English" gives you English only, in one pass, on any plan. Choosing English as a translation target keeps the Portuguese transcript and adds the English translation alongside it, with identical timings — that second mode is on the Max plan.

Can I make bilingual subtitles?
