Portuguese to English
Two ways to go from Portuguese audio to English text, and which you want depends on whether you need the Portuguese as well. Ticking "transcribe to English" gives you English in one pass on any plan, free included. Does it handle Brazilian and European Portuguese?
Yes — both Brazilian and European Portuguese are recognised, and the source transcript follows standard written Portuguese. The English translation reads the same either way; heavy regional slang is where a quick proofread helps.
Do I get the Portuguese transcript too, or only English?
Your choice. "Transcribe to English" gives you English only, in one pass, on any plan. Choosing English as a translation target keeps the Portuguese transcript and adds the English translation alongside it, with identical timings — that second mode is on the Max plan.
Can I make bilingual subtitles?
