Does it handle casual speech and English loanwords?

Yes. Mixed formal-and-casual Indonesian and common English loanwords are transcribed as spoken. Heavy code-switching between Indonesian and English mid-sentence is the spot to glance over in the editor.

Do I need to pick the language first?

No — language is detected automatically, so you can just upload and go. If a file is mostly quiet or heavily mixed, setting the language to Indonesian explicitly can steer it, but it is not required.

Can it subtitle Indonesian videos?
